My pet photography is a celebration of the incredible bond we share with our pets.
Merging my life-long love of animals with my passion for photography enables
me to capture that special spark that represents pets' true personalities.
I use the elements of artistry, mood and lighting to create works of art.
The safe, secure studio with flooring designed for doggie day care settings
is situated on a large, private property beside the Georgian Trail in Collingwood.
The natural, tranquil surroundings and environmentally friendly studio designed
for pets promote a very positive experience for pets and their families.
The time we have to enjoy life with them is so short. When my Dad passed away,
I realized how meaningful it is to have photographs that capture the unique
personalities of our amazing pets. Although Dad had advanced dementia,
he never forgot our goldendoodle's name and their strong bond enhanced Dad's
quality of life immeasurably. After the devastating loss of our cat, his
photographs became cherished memories of his gentle, playful character,
and the immeasurable joy he brought to our lives.
My philosophy is simple. Our pets will give us beautiful images if we relax
and provide a stress-free, natural environment. I will never stress an animal
for a photograph. Trust, respect and listening to our pets present us with
the opportunity to create meaningful portraits. Living on a farm, working as
a Registered Nurse, completing Pet Photography Programs and studying with the
New York Institute of Photography have helped me accomplish my goal of creating
lasting memories in a relaxed, inspirational environment. I provide high quality,
professional photography of pets and their families in the studio and on location.
Testimonials
"While walking my dog, Cash, I met Cynthia and discovered that she is a
professional pet photographer. She took some amazing photographs and was
so good with him. Cash was very comfortable with her as was I. He looked
so handsome and the quality of the images is brilliant!"

"We took our puppy to Georgian Bay Pet Photography for her first professional
photos. We were warmly welcomed and shown all around the studio and grounds,
which are very inviting for pets. Cynthia does not rush and takes the time for
pets to get comfortable in the studio setting. She gave needed breaks so our
puppy didn’t get stressed and could enjoy the experience.Cynthia gave care
and attention to every little detail and nothing was missed. We sure could tell
that she really enjoys what she is doing. We were totally pleased with the wonderful
photographs we have and also the Christmas photo cards we had done. We are quite
anxious to send them out for everyone to see. Our daughter enjoyed the
experience of being in the photos with her puppy. It was a fun experience for
both of them. We highly recommend taking your pet to this excellent photographer."
